Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Project Engineering or in an Operational role in industrial contexts, project design and delivery through construction and commissioning. Preference for experience in chemical processing and facilities.
  • Expert knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience leading engineering design and execution within cross-functional project teams, from concept through commissioning and handover.
  • Proficient in CAD and design tools (AutoDesk suite: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM), SAP, Microsoft Office, and documentation management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, collaborating with teams to define scope, schedule, tasks, and deliverables.
  • Drive safety excellence by embedding process safety and HSE standards into design and execution, leading proactive safety measures, and implementing commissioning protocols.
  • Own technical integrity by reviewing and approving designs, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering safe, reliable solutions.
  • Drive project execution from design to commissioning by managing technical work packages, coordinating resources, and resolving technical challenges.
  • Manage project documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth handover at project closeout.
  • Own risk management by anticipating challenges, implementing mitigation plans, and ensuring timely resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure project excellence by leading QA processes and performing inspections to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality installations.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact, providing updates and ensuring seamless communication between clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and executing process optimization initiatives.
