Requirements

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or other pertinent engineering discipline)
  • Candidate should have strong critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization, and data analysis skills
  • Must be capable of management and coordination of multiple resources (production maintenance, facility maintenance, contractors, etc)
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in value engineering.
  • Proficient in the Autodesk Suite is required, CAD.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and execute effectively to launch and capital execution deadlines.
  • Ability to coach and lead others to achieve results, following all safety, quality, and productivity policies and procedures
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment fulfilling a project engineer role or similar.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Capital Project Management in the design and installation of manufacturing process and packaging systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and execution.
  • Develop equipment specifications, process requirements, layouts, and technical solutions while coordinating with OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead stage-gate reviews and maintain required project documentation, validation protocols, safety reviews, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Improve safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency through engineering analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead project teams, manage contractors and suppliers, support equipment start-up activities, and deliver training to ensure successful operational adoption.
  • Other duties as assigned
