The Capital Markets Repo Department at Marex plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s capital markets activities by facilitating secured financing and liquidity solutions across US Government securities markets. As part of a front office function, the team supports repo trading and sales activity through close coordination with operations, technology, finance and risk teams, ensuring efficient trade flow and system integrity. This department not only provides market expertise and business support but also establishes the minimum required standards for trading processes and controls, reinforcing Marex’s commitment to transparency, consistency, and operational excellence throughout its global footprint. The Capital Markets – Repo Analyst is responsible for supporting the Repo business while developing a strong understanding of the repo market, trade flows, and related trading systems from both sales and trading perspectives. The primary focus of this role will focus on data analytics from the repo business and ways to improve the efficiency of the business using data analytics, AI, etc. Secondarily, this role will focus on assisting with day‑to‑day desk support activities, providing additional capacity to the team and enabling senior members to focus on execution, client engagement, and market strategy. In today’s fast‑paced and data‑driven fixed income markets, effective use of data and analytics is essential to informed decision‑making and business growth. By applying coding and programming skills to support the development of data analytics and reporting capabilities, the team enhances transparency, efficiency, revenue and insight across repo trading activities.
