About The Position

The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities. Depending on placement, participants may assist with audits, reporting, compliance, financial transactions, client onboarding, technology, risk management, trade execution, prime brokerage, and client services. In addition to practical experience, the program emphasizes professional development, offering exposure to industry practices, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration alongside experienced professionals. The Capital Markets Prime Services Department at Marex plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s capital markets activities by delivering technology‑enabled trading and post‑trade solutions to clients. As part of a centralized function within Capital Markets, the team partners closely with trading, operations, and technology teams to support client onboarding, trading workflows, and the accurate distribution of trading and portfolio data. This department not only supports client service and business growth but also establishes the minimum required standards for operational processes and controls, reinforcing Marex’s commitment to transparency, consistency, and operational excellence throughout its global footprint. The Capital Markets – Prime Services Analyst 2 is responsible for supporting the Prime Services team by assisting with client onboarding, trading system support, and day‑to‑day operational processes. This role will focus on supporting trading workflows, monitoring activity, and assisting with issue resolution, while providing additional capacity to the team and enabling senior members to focus on client engagement and strategic initiatives. In today’s fast‑paced and technology‑driven capital markets, reliable trading infrastructure and operational support are essential to delivering strong client outcomes. By developing an understanding of trading systems, workflows, and controls, the Analyst supports efficient execution and builds a strong foundation for long‑term development within Prime Services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.
  • Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.

Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day Prime Services activities, assisting with client onboarding, system setup, and trading workflow support.
  • Monitor trading activity and operational data, identifying and escalating issues to support timely resolution.
  • Assist with troubleshooting trading system and workflow issues, working with internal technology and operations teams.
  • Support the accurate distribution of trading and portfolio data to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Develop an understanding of trading systems, controls, and operational processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Prime Services function.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
