About The Position

The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities. Depending on placement, participants may assist with audits, reporting, compliance, financial transactions, client onboarding, technology, risk management, trade execution, prime brokerage, and client services. In addition to practical experience, the program emphasizes professional development, offering exposure to industry practices, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration alongside experienced professionals. Graduates are expected to start no later than September 2026. The Capital Markets Corporate Bonds Department at Marex plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s capital markets activities by facilitating trading, market access, and client engagement within the corporate bond market. As part of a centralized front office function, the team works closely with sales, trading, and middle office to manage trade flows, systems, and client relationships while ensuring efficient execution and post‑trade support. This department not only provides market expertise and business support but also establishes the minimum required standards for trading processes and controls, reinforcing Marex’s commitment to transparency, consistency, and operational excellence throughout its global footprint. The Capital Markets – Corporate Bonds Analyst is responsible for supporting the corporate bonds trading and sales teams while developing a deep understanding of the corporate bond market, trade flows, and supporting systems. This role will focus on assisting with research, data gathering, and day‑to‑day support activities, while providing additional capacity to the desk and enabling senior team members to focus on trading, client engagement, and strategy. In today’s fast‑paced and dynamic fixed income markets, effective coordination between trading, sales, and support functions is essential to maintaining market efficiency and client confidence. By acting as a liaison between the trading desk and middle office, the team supports accurate trade processing and resolution of issues, while contributing to long‑term talent development and future progression within the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.
  • Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the corporate bond market, trade flows, and trading systems, applying this knowledge in day-to-day desk support activities.
  • Support research and data gathering on counterparties and firm accounts, assisting trading and sales teams with timely and accurate information.
  • Act as a liaison between the trading desk and middle office, supporting the resolution of trade breaks and P&L discrepancies.
  • Provide additional capacity to the desk through execution of core support tasks, enabling traders and sales staff to focus on market activity and client engagement.
  • Progress toward regulatory licensing and professional development, supporting longer-term growth into roles backing up traders and sales staff.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
