The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities. Depending on placement, participants may assist with audits, reporting, compliance, financial transactions, client onboarding, technology, risk management, trade execution, prime brokerage, and client services. In addition to practical experience, the program emphasizes professional development, offering exposure to industry practices, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration alongside experienced professionals. The Capital Markets - Client Services Department at Marex plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of post‑trade operations for equity transactions. Acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams such as trading, settlements, and technology, the department supports trade confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement while mitigating operational and counterparty risk. This department not only safeguards market stability and contractual integrity but also reinforces Marex’s commitment to operational excellence, transparency, and superior client experience across its global equity clearing activities. The Capital Markets – Client Services Analyst is responsible for supporting prime brokerage clients by ensuring accurate and timely post‑trade processing, confirmation, and settlement of equity transactions. This role will focus on managing day‑to‑day client service activities, including resolving trade breaks, issuing margin and risk calls, and facilitating money and securities movements, while providing additional capacity to the team and enabling senior members to focus on oversight and client strategy. In today’s fast‑paced and highly regulated financial markets, effective post‑trade operations are essential to maintaining market confidence and operational stability. By delivering precise processing, proactive issue resolution, and consistent client communication, the Client Services team supports strong control outcomes and reinforces the firm’s commitment to operational excellence and superior client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.
  • Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prime brokerage clients, supporting day‑to‑day post‑trade inquiries and operational needs.
  • Support daily post‑trade processing, including trade confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, and resolution of trade breaks.
  • Perform daily fee reconciliation activities, reviewing client fee calculations, reconciling third‑party invoices, and resolving discrepancies in line with controls and client agreements.
  • Issue margin and risk calls and facilitate money and securities movements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Support corporate actions processing, client notifications, and elections while increasing product awareness.
  • Participate in client onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring operational readiness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, sales, settlements, and technology, to support allocations, clearance, and overall client service delivery.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
