The Capital Equipment Procurement Manager – Onsite Power Generation is responsible for planning, budgeting, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, supplier performance, supply chain resilience / risk management, and stakeholder alignment for QTS onsite power generation equipment and related services. This role will support QTS’s Energy Innovation, Utilities Delivery, Development, Finance, Legal, and Facility Operations teams by managing procurement activity for mobile and stationary generation solutions, including gas turbines, reciprocating engines, fuel cells, generator step-up transformers, SCR/emissions systems, generator balance-of-plant, BESS and related power infrastructure, fuel supply, virtual pipeline services, fleet management, and temporary/bridging power services. The role requires a commercially focused procurement leader who can build supplier strategies, manage long-lead equipment risk, negotiate complex commercial structures, and help QTS secure reliable, scalable, and cost-effective onsite power capacity to support accelerated campus development. As a Capital Equipment Procurement Manager in the Onsite Power Generation category, you will report to the Senior Manager, Capital Equipment Procurement for power generation equipment and services.
