Capex Accounting Manager

gFiber
•$124,600 - $202,300

About The Position

The Capex Accounting Manager is part of the Controllership team and owns accounting for GFiber’s capital program, a multi-billion-dollar fiber network. The role establishes accounting policy before transactions go live and owns the systems and data that support accurate capitalization upstream. It partners with FP&A, Operations, and Tax to support forecasting, commissioning, and financial control. The position owns end-to-end ASC 360 PP&E and lease accounting, from capitalization costing—including labor, materials, and allocations—through the asset lifecycle, month-end close, and reconciliations. It maintains the capex-to-opex bridge, supports external audits, and owns relevant SAP functionality and PO-coding architecture. The role also grows, mentors, and develops its team.

  • Familiarity with the group/composite-asset method, cost or Manufacturing Overhead, and labor capitalization.
  • Ability to self-direct in a fast-moving, unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, and define an agenda.
