About The Position

The Capital Equipment Excellence team accelerates safe, high-quality capacity growth across the Gas Value Stream through Fulfillment, Installation, and Qualification workstreams. The Fulfillment team works cross-functionally with Materials Management, Sourcing, and Global Supply Chain to ensure capital equipment is delivered safely, with high quality, and on time. This role leads project management efforts supporting on-time delivery of capital projects and aligns Fulfillment and Installation with Global Supply Chain and Engineering. It is based 100% onsite at GE Vernova’s Greenville, South Carolina Garlington location. The role manages capital equipment purchasing and installation activities, coordinates stakeholders and process owners, and supports qualification. It also leads continuous-improvement efforts and capacity ramp-up roadmaps, maintaining accurate project schedules and forecasts while driving cost, cycle-time, quality, and business impact. The position requires leadership, teamwork, communication, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
2 years of Continuous Improvement Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
2 years of Production Supervisor experience.
At least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Strong team-player capabilities.
Good negotiation skills.
Ability to build trust with team members and interfacing organizations.
Customer satisfaction mindset and strong quality orientation.

Responsibilities

Use cross-functional capabilities to support business case approval.
Issue RFQs, ARs, and POs for capital equipment delivery.
Develop facility-specific technical specifications from global generic technical specifications for the Veresegyhaz facility.
Coordinate with stakeholders and process owners to ensure on-time completion of all steps in the CapEx purchasing process.
Liaise with the Qualification Engineer to drive consistent, on-time qualifications within the facility.
Lead the installation team and review and select vendors for capital equipment installation.
Drive vendors to complete installation on time, prioritizing safety and quality.
Provide vendors with feedback and lessons learned.
Lead Kaizens and roadmaps supporting capacity ramp-up; drive project cost and cycle-time reductions.
Keep the Smartsheet schedule accurate and updated daily.
Apply design and manufacturing knowledge to improve the qualification process, reduce cost, and add value.
Develop initial project schedules and drive on-time completion of technical specifications, sourcing, procurement, installation, and qualification.
Forecast personnel and machine resource-allocation deficiencies.
Cultivate a positive working environment and morale, and promote urgency, quality, and speed.
