Fluidstack
•$155,000 - $199,000

About The Position

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI and is singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This role is part of the Supply Chain Team, which is responsible for supplying gigawatt-scale compute, qualifying and dual-sourcing critical equipment, and making supply chain the reason the company builds faster than anyone. The team also focuses on building accurate supply chain prediction modeling using AI to forecast lead times, demand, and disruption. This role will own the sourcing strategy for capital equipment across the build program, including long-lead power and cooling equipment, modular structures, and will develop total cost of ownership models. The position involves running competitive sourcing events, negotiating and executing capital equipment agreements, and partnering with Finance on CapEx planning and cash flow forecasting. The goal is to deliver cost reduction through standardization, demand aggregation, and volume agreements, while also building dual-source plans to mitigate single-source risk on critical capital equipment.

  • Partnered with Finance on CapEx budgets and cash flow forecasts, and can show the savings delivered against them.
  • Run RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes end to end, from supplier qualification through contract signature.
  • Track supplier performance with scorecards spanning quality, on-time delivery, and cost, and act on the data before a slip reaches the schedule.
  • Worked inside ERP and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or equivalent) enough to run sourcing events and spend analytics without hand-holding.

  • Partner with Finance on CapEx planning, tracking committed spend against budget and forecasting cash flow from award to delivery.
  • Deliver cost reduction through standardization, demand aggregation across sites, and volume agreements, and build dual-source plans that close out single-source risk on critical capital equipment.
