About The Position

Enbridge is seeking a Capacity Planning Engineer Specialist to join its Houston-based team. The role evaluates and optimizes natural gas pipeline capacity across Enbridge’s U.S. Transmission assets using hydraulic modeling and operational expertise. It assesses expansion projects, forecasts system capacity, optimizes pipeline configurations and outage timing, and turns modeling results into recommendations to strengthen reliability, maximize capacity, and minimize customer impacts. The position works with Design, System Planning, Gas Control, Commercial Operations, Operations, Engineering, Scheduling, Marketing, Regulatory, Integrity Planning, and other stakeholders. It provides technical leadership on complex capacity and operational issues, including expansion planning, regulatory and FERC filings, incident investigations, commercial opportunities, and reviews of modeling assumptions and results.
