About The Position
The Canvasser meets homeowners in local neighborhoods, starts conversations, and schedules free, no-obligation in-home consultations for In-Home Sales Representatives. This is an entry-level sales role focused on generating interest and making a positive first impression; canvassers are not expected to close deals. The role introduces homeowners to Mad City Windows & Baths’ window, bath, and kitchen solutions and includes paid training. The posting offers a starting rate of $20 per hour plus uncapped performance-based bonuses, with opportunities for career growth, a Manager in Training program, and a pathway into in-home sales. Previous sales experience is not required.
Requirements
- Comfort starting conversations with new people.
- A positive, energetic attitude and motivation to meet goals.
- Reliability, coachability, and willingness to learn.
- Comfort working actively outdoors during the day.
- Ability to walk through neighborhoods for extended periods, work outdoors in varying weather, and stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in canvassing, retail, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, athletics, or lead generation.
