About The Position

We’re building a team to work on the most pressing political problems of our time. Our work supports the progressive movement at-large building real and lasting power for groups- registering the historically disenfranchised constituencies to vote, protecting women’s reproductive health, and turning out young women to vote against another Trump term this Fall. As a Canvass Director, you and the canvass staff you hire and train will have an important impact on these issues through face-to-face conversations with people on their doorsteps. We build the people power it takes to overcome powerful opposition standing in the way of solutions – you’ll fundraise and mobilize people to get involved. Being a Canvass Office Director requires that you work independently, exercise good judgment and work hard to meet your office’s staffing, campaign and fieldwork goals. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day canvassing office operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and productivity.
• Provide ongoing training to canvassing employees, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge required for their roles. This includes regular feedback sessions, skill-building workshops, and performance evaluations.
• Lead and participate in fundraising and mobilization efforts multiple times a week. Ensure that the team is meeting fundraising goals and problem solve any issues that arise in the field.
• Collaborate closely with our leadership team to strategize and plan fundraising campaigns.
• Foster team leadership and motivation.
