Cannabis Cultivation Tech (Part-Time)
About The Position
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temporary Cannabis Cultivation and Harvest Technicians for part-time work at their production facility about 30 minutes outside of Stockton, CA area (45 min SE of Sacramento) starting around May 20. You should be eager to be a part of a start-up Cannabis company. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door working for a great company if you have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and are very attentive to details. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older (California State Law).
- Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of California.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to arrive on time.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, twist AND lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction.
- Growth mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Ability to be around plant materials up to 8 hours.
- At least two professional references able to speak to your great work ethic.
- Ability to wear a N95 mask while around cannabis product.
- Ability to be around plant pollen for an 8-hour period of time.

Responsibilities
- Assisting Head Growers and Assistant Growers with a variety of tasks with the cannabis plants in an indoor grow environment.
- Manicuring cannabis plants.
- Monitoring cannabis plants.
- Pruning cannabis plants.
- Watering cannabis plants.
- Planting cannabis plants.
- Trimming cannabis plants.
- Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of the production area.
- Applying nutrients (opportunity to learn).
- Pest management methodologies (opportunity to learn).
