About The Position

Campus Security position at Horizon High School for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is listed as Auxiliary/Security and pays $14.55–$17.32 per hour. The work schedule is 226 days per year, 8 hours per day. Candidates must be physically capable of performing all duties, record and report information, follow verbal and written instructions, work effectively with students, and communicate and interact effectively with students, district employees, and the general public. Good customer service skills are required. Applicants must submit a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent, current security certification from the Texas Board of Private Investigators/Texas Private Security Bureau, a current resume, and a copy of a Texas driver’s license. Documents may be attached electronically or delivered to the CISD Central Administration Building at 14521 Horizon Blvd., El Paso, TX 79928.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Level 2 or Level 3 security certificate, or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
Maintain a security certificate from the Texas Board of Private Investigators/Texas Private Security Bureau, or obtain renewal within 30 days of employment.
Valid driver’s license.
Physically capable of performing all duties.
Ability to record and report information.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work effectively with students.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, district employees, and the general public.
Good customer service skills.
Submit a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent, current security certification, current resume, and copy of a Texas driver’s license with the application.
