About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Manhattan, Kansas. The role requires strong observation skills to assess surroundings, anticipate risks, and respond appropriately. Officers move throughout their shifts while patrolling environments and are responsible for protecting people and property.

Two part-time schedules are available: Friday through Saturday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; or Saturday through Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Compensation is $18.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas and look for suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
