About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Campus Security Guard in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The role offers two part-time weekend schedules: mornings on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., or overnight on Saturday and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; each schedule is 24 hours per week. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. The position involves protecting people and property while providing customer service, monitoring and reporting activity, enforcing site procedures, and responding to critical situations. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• At least one year of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• State license, if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Active driver's license.
• CPR certificate.
• Experience with access control.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols around the property.
• Deter vagrants from the property.
• Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
• Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
• Use independent judgment and sound decision-making while performing duties.
• Observe and survey the area and report activity at the assigned location.
• Regulate traffic and enforce traffic laws on the property.
• De-escalate verbal altercations.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
