About The Position

Innovetive Petcare is seeking a Veterinarian Campus Recruiter to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent) who enjoys connecting with future veterinarians and guiding them in their career paths. The position is 100% remote and involves up to 50% travel during peak campus recruiting seasons. As a Campus Recruiter, you will be a brand ambassador, relationship builder, and strategic matchmaker, connecting top veterinary students with career opportunities across over 80 hospitals nationwide.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent) - required.
  • At least three years of experience practicing in veterinary medicine.
  • A passion for mentoring and connecting with veterinary students.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Independent, organized, and detail-oriented work style.
  • Creative and strategic mindset with ability to flex and adapt to our practice needs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% during spring and fall recruiting seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary colleges, faculty, career services, and student organizations.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in campus recruiting events, career fairs, and networking sessions to promote the Innovetive Petcare brand.
  • Coordinate externship placements for veterinary students and match them with hospitals based on skills, interests, and career goals.
  • Collaborate with teammates to design and execute tailored recruiting strategies that align with business needs.
  • Manage and mentor Student Ambassadors to strengthen our presence at key universities.
  • Utilize ATS (Pinpoint), CRM (Salesforce), and Microsoft Excel to track candidates, manage pipelines, and maintain data integrity.
  • Use social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, Canva) to create engaging content, post jobs, and connect with future veterinary professionals.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and hospital leaders to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Leverage market insights to develop proactive recruiting campaigns and build long-term talent pipelines.
