About The Position
Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Campus Recreation Marketing Specialist. - Boca Raton, FL. The Campus Recreation Marketing Specialist supports the marketing and outreach efforts through graphic design, social media assistance, event representation, and content creation for the department.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of appropriate experience required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling flyers, digital graphics, and other promotional materials to support Campus Recreation programs and events.
- Assist with planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms.
- Represent the department at campus tabling events, presentations, and outreach activities.
- Research promotional products, marketing trends, and new opportunities to increase departmental visibility.
- Capture photos and basic media content at Campus Recreation events for use in marketing materials and social media.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve audience engagement, tailoring messaging and design for key audiences including students, prospective students and families, alumni, and the campus community).
