About The Position

Oversee and advance operational effectiveness across Residence Life, Dining Services, Café, and Bookstore by managing planning cycles, system improvements, reporting, and seasonal readiness. This role strengthens the student and guest experience, drives consistency and efficiency in auxiliary services, and supports the long-term sustainability of Campus Life.

Requirements

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in operations support, administrative management, or service-based environments required.
  • Proficiently operate a computer and navigate all of the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Experience in administration, execution, or operational implementation strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting events, promotions, or cross-department initiatives with administrative oversight preferred.
  • Experience utilizing databases, reporting tools, or operational systems to manage and track performance preferred.
  • Background in residence life, hospitality, retail, or campus operations environments is a plus.
  • Service orientation, grounded in compassion and partnership, reflecting the mission and vision of Charis Bible College, and elevating the school’s word-of-mouth recruitment and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Campus Life operational initiatives from planning through execution across Residence Life, Dining Services, Café, and Bookstore (e.g., Move-In Day, POS upgrades, service improvement projects).
  • Manage timelines, documentation, and follow-through for departmental priorities, seasonal planning cycles, and multi-area initiatives.
  • Support operational readiness for residence hall growth and expanded housing capacity, ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Evaluate and enhance Campus Life services and resources through feedback, data analysis, and best practices.
  • Research and apply industry best practices to strengthen operations across Campus Life environments.
  • Serve as a liaison with Dining Services to monitor participation trends, promotions, guest feedback, and operational priorities.
  • Administer systems and processes, including StarRez (housing), Atrium (meal plans), and retail POS platforms, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Support development and execution of Campus Life events, promotions, and campaigns in partnership with marketing.
  • Monitor meal plan operations, communications, and guest satisfaction, implementing process improvements as needed.
  • Assist with purchasing, credit card reconciliation, work order tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Provide operational support during peak service periods and preparation for major campus events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
