About The Position

Aurora on France is a lively and elegant community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Transitional Care. The Campus Administrator II is responsible for assuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Campus through leadership and management.

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in LTC Administration, Management, Human Services or related field
  • Three to Five Years of experience
  • MS Office proficiency
  • MN Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD), or MN Licensed Health Services Executive (LHSE), or MN Nursing Home Administrator Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Five to Ten Years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Direct, and coordinate activities for the Health Care Facility and Assisted Living, including giving clear directions, explaining reasons for decisions, soliciting employee input, reflecting problem-solving skills, prioritizing multiple tasks, directing and participating in strategic planning, assuring corporate strategic goals reach across the campus, serving as an administrative lead for identified department committees, and acting as the functioning ED for the community as needed.
  • Organize the functions of departments and buildings through appropriate delegation of duties, including establishing formal means of accountability, regularly scheduling interdepartmental and departmental meetings, setting and reviewing goals with Campus Leadership, naming appropriate departmental representatives to multidisciplinary committees, and supporting and leading the Campus to improve customer service.
  • Act as a liaison between the governing body, corporate staff, medical staff, regulatory agencies, and facility staff, including providing reports, interpreting policies, keeping corporate staff informed of significant concerns, and participating in corporate senior management meetings.
  • Participate or be represented in community, state, and national associations and professional activities which define the delivery of senior housing and health services, including promoting an acceptable public relations program, attending association events, speaking at community events, and supporting lifelong learning.
  • Assure strong census/occupancy across the campus by actively participating in marketing efforts, maintaining referral database, lead follow-up, and census/occupancy records, and monitoring customer satisfaction.
  • Assure Financial Excellence by participating with managers to set annual budgets, submitting annual budgets, and monitoring monthly financial performance.
  • Promote Employee Engagement by adhering to Corporate HR Policy, monitoring employee satisfaction, assuring the tracking of open positions, and assuring compliance for OSHA, Workers Comp and other employment agencies.
