Requirements

At least 1 year of pastry or baking experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
Flexible and team-oriented.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
Punctuality and ability to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Follow food safety standards at all times, including proper allergen handling.
Bake and prepare pastries, breads, cookies, cakes, and other desserts according to recipes and specifications provided by the Chef or Genuine Foods.
Measure, scale, and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent quality.
Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings ahead of baking and service.
Finish, decorate, and present baked items according to specifications.
Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and correctly.
Coordinate with team members to ensure items are prepared on time for service.
Maintain a clean working environment and assist with additional cleaning duties.
Keep the work area stocked and organized.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
