About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Campus Dean for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program to provide strategic leadership and oversight of our nursing education program. This senior nursing education leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the future of nursing through academic excellence, community partnerships, and innovative program development. The Campus Dean will be responsible for site supervision, curriculum development, faculty management, clinical partnerships, and ensuring compliance with state board requirements while fostering student success in our accredited BSN program.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree required
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the campus state or ability to obtain licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing faculty experience teaching in accredited college-level nursing programs
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse in clinical settings
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills
  • Collaborative and inclusive leadership style with proven team-building capabilities
  • Proficiency in educational technology, learning management systems, and computer-based resources

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and evaluate all nursing program operations and academic activities
  • Ensure clinical supplies, simulation equipment, and educational resources align with BSN program goals and accreditation standards
  • Prepare and submit data reports for state nursing board and accreditation requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive student and faculty records in collaboration with Human Resources
  • Develop, implement, and update nursing program policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Oversee nursing student admissions process, new student orientation, and enrollment management
  • Serve as primary liaison between the college, healthcare community partners, and clinical facilities
  • Manage clinical site partnerships, preceptor relationships, and clinical affiliation agreements
  • Ensure clinical rotation scheduling, approvals, and performance evaluations meet educational objectives
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor qualified nursing faculty and clinical instructors
  • Advocate for nursing programs and implement marketing strategies to attract qualified nursing students
  • Monitor instructional quality, faculty performance, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives
  • Support student academic advising, retention efforts, and pathways to nursing licensure success
  • Conduct regular Nursing Advisory Committee meetings with healthcare stakeholders
