About The Position

Moody Bible Institute is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Custodian to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will help maintain our campus facilities by ensuring classrooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms are clean, organized, and ready to support students, employees, and guests. As a member of our Facilities team, you will play an important role in supporting Moody's mission by providing exceptional custodial services across campus while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience.
Familiarity with custodial equipment, cleaning products, and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain restrooms, classrooms, offices, hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
Clean carpets, floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces using established procedures.
Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling materials.
Monitor, replenish, and organize supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and public spaces.
Maintain custodial storage areas in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition.
Operate custodial equipment, including carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, wet vacuums, and other specialized cleaning tools.
Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with campus events, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
