About The Position

CT State Community College offers a wide variety of academic dual enrollment programs with several secondary education partners. The breadth and complexities of these academic programs require administrative assistance in their management. The Campus Coordinator of Dual and Concurrent Enrollment provides the administrative and academic support services needed to support the effective management of the College’s academic dual enrollment programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field with two (2) or more years of related experience or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.
  • Academic course scheduling
  • Budget and fiscal management
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) or more years of supervisory experience
  • High school teaching/administration experience and/or concurrent/dual enrollment experience either in college or in high school.
  • Experience managing concurrent enrollment partnerships
  • Experience supporting any stage of the application process (i.e., recruitment, first-time registration, student onboarding, etc.)
  • Experience navigating multiple priorities and creating detailed deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative coordination in support of the College’s academic dual enrollment programs through effective performance in the following functional areas: Faculty Administration, Program Articulation with High Schools, Academic assistance, Program Administration and Financial Record Keeping.
  • Attendance and participation at convocation and commencement ceremonies
  • Service on assigned committees and task forces
  • Attendance and participation at committee, staff, informational and professional meetings which may occur during evenings and weekends.
