About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including promptly and courteously greeting customers, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a welcoming and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, keeping merchandise stocked and accurately priced, and helping customers make informed purchases. The Outfitter performs assigned duties under general supervision and uses established procedures, with occasional independent judgment and recommendations on work practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally lift or move objects up to 100 pounds or more with team lifting as needed.
• Ability to occasionally use ladders, stairs, ramps, machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment; work in confined spaces; and work in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish and restock products according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
