About The Position

War Room is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Campaign Manager to join their growing Performance team. This role is responsible for the setup, execution, and day-to-day management of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. The Campaign Manager will monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide data-driven optimization recommendations to help exceed client objectives. Working closely with Account Managers and Data Analysts, this role ensures campaigns are launched accurately, run efficiently, and deliver strong results for clients. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the office, with the first 3 months of onboarding fully in the office. The office is located at 210 W Broadway, Vancouver, and office hours are 9 am-5 pm.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in paid media management, either at a digital marketing agency or in an in-house marketing team.
  • Experience with digital media planning and buying across multiple channels.
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook/Meta.
  • Hands-on experience with Search Ads platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Bing, and Yahoo.
  • Experience managing $3M+ in annual digital media budgets.
  • Working knowledge of Meta Business Manager, Campaign Manager 360 (DCM), and other demand-side platforms.
  • Familiarity with media and research tools such as ComScore, eMarketer, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, including understanding tags and identifying or troubleshooting tracking issues.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, dashboards, and macros.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising and ad tech landscape.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (in-person, phone, and email).
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns across different business verticals and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the setup, trafficking, and day-to-day management of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Execute paid search campaigns including account setup, campaign structuring, keyword development, ad copy creation and testing, and bid/budget management.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched accurately by performing quality assurance (QA) on ads, tracking tags, and data uploads.
  • Maintain campaign organization and platform setups to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance to ensure campaigns meet client goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance using reporting and analytics tools to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and implement optimization recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Perform regular campaign audits to ensure campaigns are running efficiently and accurately.
  • Pull and prepare campaign reports for internal teams and Account Managers.
  • Use reporting, analytics, and trend analysis tools to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on campaign data and performance trends.
  • Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting issues related to creative assets, tracking tags, and platform functionality.
  • Escalate platform or technical issues to technology partners when necessary.
  • Identify usage or performance concerns and recommend solutions to Account Managers.
  • Collaborate closely with Campaign Managers, Account Managers, and Data Analysts to improve campaign performance.
  • Support Account Managers in evaluating and testing new platform features and products.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives that improve trafficking workflows, data processes, and campaign operations.
  • Support the development of junior team members and new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
