About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Campaign Content Strategist to lead content strategy and execution for their most important global campaigns. This role is designed for an individual who wants to influence how a major B2B brand presents itself in the market and views AI as a significant creative and operational opportunity. The position is explicitly AI-first, with the strategist owning campaign content across earned, owned, and paid channels, and contributing to the reinvention of content production, personalization, and optimization. The role requires a strong editorial perspective, deep audience understanding, proven content creation skills, and fluency with AI tools and agentic workflows. The strategist will partner with Campaign Strategy, Product Marketing, Creative, and Channel teams, developing AI-enabled workflows to enhance team effectiveness. This is an opportunity for someone energized by fast-paced, evolving environments and passionate about content craft.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in content strategy, editorial planning, or integrated marketing.
  • Substantial hands-on content creation experience.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates content strategy and creation capabilities.
  • Strong background in B2B messaging, campaign storytelling, and cross-channel content development.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM, Writer, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to produce, personalize, and optimize marketing content.
  • Experience building repeatable AI workflows.
  • A clear point of view on the appropriate use of AI in the content process.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across Product Marketing, Creative, and functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience briefing creative teams.
  • Ability to ground content in genuine customer and market insight.
  • A knack for turning complex ideas into clear, audience-first messaging.
  • A bias toward action and experimentation.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for fast-paced environments where the playbook is still being written.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end content strategy for global campaigns, including defining the core story, content architecture, and asset mix across the funnel.
  • Bring the central narrative of each campaign to life, ensuring all assets across all channels reinforce the story clearly, cohesibly, and with an audience-first approach.
  • Utilize research, audience insights, and performance data to guide content direction, ensuring campaigns resonate with the target audience, address customer needs, and drive outcomes.
  • Champion a customer-first approach that balances business priorities with audience interests.
  • Write, shape, and oversee the production of high-impact campaign content, including narrative frameworks, messaging guides, hero copy, and key asset copy for web, email, paid, and social channels.
  • Translate complex product and solution stories into clear, compelling, audience-first content optimized for the full customer journey.
  • Partner with Creative and channel teams to adapt core content into channel-native formats, maintaining quality and consistency as campaigns scale.
  • Treat AI as a core component of content craft, not a secondary task.
  • Design, test, and scale AI-powered capabilities for advancing content marketing.
  • Build and maintain prompt libraries, content templates, Skills, and agentic workflows to enhance team output while safeguarding brand voice, quality, and accuracy.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the content lifecycle (briefing, drafting, review, adaptation, reporting) and lead change management efforts to resolve them using AI.
  • Pilot emerging AI tools and effectively use established tools like Slackbot, Gemini, NotebookLM, Writer, ChatGPT, and Claude, codifying best practices for team reuse.
  • Establish standards for AI-assisted content, including clear guardrails, thoughtful review processes, and strong viewpoints on sourcing, fact-checking, and brand safety.
  • Develop integrated content strategies aligned with the full customer journey, ensuring cohesive campaign experiences.
  • Create purposeful content plans based on funnel stage, audience signals, and intent, with a focus on performance and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, piloting new content formats, storytelling approaches, and AI-powered experiences to enhance campaign engagement and impact.
  • Act as a liaison across Creative, Product Marketing, and channel teams, driving alignment on messaging goals, content priorities, and customer experience.
  • Proactively shape campaign briefs with clear input on messaging hierarchy, content types, audiences, and channel considerations.
  • Help define and evolve best practices across functional teams (Email, Web, Paid, Social, etc.) to ensure consistency, quality, and innovation, including shared standards for AI-assisted content.
  • Monitor content performance across assets and channels, leading strategic iteration based on engagement data and audience signals.
  • Use AI to accelerate the test-and-learn cycle by generating variants, identifying patterns, and translating insights into new content more rapidly.
