About The Position

The summer camp counselor will be an energetic individual who will be responsible for leading a group of 20-25 children throughout the day and on field trips. He/ she will need to ensure that the schedule is always followed and that campers are taken care of at all times. The counselor will also be responsible for subjects such as arts and crafts, storytelling, physical activities, and character building. It is essential that the counselor attains teamwork skills as he/ she will be working closely with the assistant counselor and other counselors. The safety of the children will always be at the forefront of this student’s tasks and he/ she will be aware of the personal and group health and safety practices and procedures.
