About The Position

This temporary, full-time summer 2027 internship is for students who attended Verizon’s October 20, 2026 VTeamer for a Day in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The intern will work on a real-time project in Verizon’s Call Routing Optimization organization, gaining exposure across Verizon’s AI-first ecosystem. The role is intended as a launchpad for rising seniors, and high-performing interns may be considered for Verizon’s developmental rotational program. Recent projects in the organization have included researching contact center and routing technologies and identifying applications for customer success channels; supporting multi-year call routing and CTI technology roadmaps for Mobile Customer Service and Fios; and prototyping call routing algorithms and evaluating their business impact, efficiency, and feasibility. The internship lasts 10 weeks between June and August 2027 and is hybrid, based in Basking Ridge, with work-from-home and manager-assigned office days. Interns will also attend a multi-day in-person Intern Marquee event in Basking Ridge. Relocation assistance may be available if relocation is required.
