About The Position

The Call Centre Staff will work with the Rec Room management team, and venue operations. The Call Centre staff are responsible for handling guest inquiries, supporting the reservations system for the venue, and assisting with Groups and Events coordination. This is a new position and is being actively recruited for.

Requirements

  • You have a high school diploma or GED, or currently in progress
  • Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
  • You have experience in Customer Service.
  • You are committed to a team approach.
  • You give high attention to detail and have excellent time management skills.
  • You can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • You have a general sense of urgency and initiative
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have the ability to foster strong client relationships

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the Groups & Events teams, guests who want to book group rentals and employees.
  • Manage the day to day booking of events as applicable.
  • Receive and route customer questions and phone calls related to the venue, to the appropriate parties.
  • Reviewing and replying to general emails including booking requests and guest inquiries, directing concerns to the appropriate parties.
  • Support the reservation system (Open Table) for the venue, managing the physical assigning of tables/rental spaces.
  • As requested, work with the venue management team to organize and prepare for group rentals.
  • Collaborate with the Groups and Events corporate team.
