About The Position

Our Hourly Line Cooks are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. Hourly Line Cooks have a range of responsibilities in the kitchen including strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels throughout the day, and preparing meals consistent with company standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation and principles of safe food handling
  • Schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required

Nice To Haves

  • A professional diploma or food services management is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Daily set-up and preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
  • Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as instructed.
  • Restocking all items throughout the shift.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Adhering to all regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials and fire safety.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as requested by the chef or sous chef.
