About The Position

The Cage/Vault Shift Manager ensures the efficiency of Casino Cage and Vault Operations and directly oversees cage and vault associates, maintaining positive interactions with internal and external customers. The position reports to the Cage-Vault Manager. This is a full-time position with variable days and hours based on business needs. Pay Grade 09. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option.

Requirements

Knowledge of high-volume cash handling policies, including security, verification, and accuracy.
Ability to work with large sums of money and chips.
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes, including assessing customer needs, meeting service quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
Prior management experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee processes, identify areas of concern, and develop process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations; gain full knowledge of Cage and Vault computer software.
Instruct associates on specific tasks and techniques, and periodically inspect work to confirm requests are completed as reported.
Audit and inspect team work to ensure standards are met and paperwork is accurate and complete.
Develop methods, processes, and staffing plans to forecast and fulfill demand; help interview and hire new associates and promote existing associates; record associate attendance.
Conduct performance management, including reviews and addressing substandard performance.
Maintain security, surveillance, and gaming policies and procedures to protect Casino assets; immediately report fraudulent and suspicious activity.
Work with outside vendors to ensure financial equipment is maintained and operational to Casino standards.
Communicate with the Cage/Vault Manager about customer service issues, associate performance, staffing, safety concerns, equipment malfunctions and repairs, and other Casino-related problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
