About The Position

As the Cage Cashier, you will pay out winning gaming machine tickets or chips and tokens to customers who present them. You will be responsible for handling large sums of money and must follow Casino procedures exactly. The position reports to the Cage Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Cage Manager on duty.

The pay rate is $11.00 per hour plus tips, with an average tip rate of $5.93. This is a full-time position scheduled from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Requirements

• Experience handling large volumes of cash.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Knowledge of high-volume cash-handling policies.
• Ability to apply basic math, including arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions.

Responsibilities

• Follow Casino procedures when handling large sums of money and paying out tickets.
• Ensure required paperwork is signed and included in shift packets for auditing.
• Ensure customers sign for payouts above the location-set amount before paying the ticket.
• Answer customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures and payouts.
• Make change at customers' requests and exchange money, credit, tokens, and tickets.
• Verify customer identification when needed.
• Verify the authenticity of tickets and payout requests.
• Maintain accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
