About The Position

The Cage Cashier II role involves maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude towards customers, promptly cashing out customers, giving correct change, and answering questions courteously. The position requires accurate counting and recording of funds, balancing the cash drawer, and making exchanges with bank locations. The Cage Cashier II is responsible for the accurate control of casino funds, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures, and maintaining adequate operational bankrolls and NRT cassette inventory. This role also involves reviewing vault activities with supervisors, verifying personal identification for T-31 transactions, and completing required documentation such as CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs. Additionally, the position requires tracking and completing Title 31 and Suspicious Activity reports, ensuring guests have a favorable gaming experience, and maintaining strict confidentiality of financial and company information. The Cage Cashier II must have complete knowledge of casino events and promotions, keep their work area clean, and adhere to regulatory and company policies ethically. They will handle routine customer complaints and incidents, identifying situations that require supervisory attention and resolving issues to maintain positive guest relationships. The role also includes assisting in maintaining the casino's cleanliness and performing other assigned duties. The position requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential shift changes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
  • Promptly cash customers out, give correct change, and answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accurately count and record assigned funds and make exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
  • Keep cash drawer balanced and imprest.
  • Make exchanges with the various bank locations.
  • Responsible for accurate control over casino funds.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate NRT cassette inventory.
  • Review vault activities with Cage Supervisor and/or Cage Shift Manager.
  • Verify and document personal identification information for T-31 transactions.
  • Complete CTRs, W2Gs, MTLs, and all other required documentation.
  • Track and complete Title 31 and Suspicious Activity reports.
  • Assure that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information.
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
  • Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
