Cage Cashier
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate handling of guest and company funds by processing all transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulations, company policies and procedures. The Cage Cashier will exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks, and process markers and fills. They will maintain their bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during their assigned shift. Additionally, the Cage Cashier will assist customers with filling credit applications and maintain all customer credit files, issue window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests, and enter markers, fill and credit slips into the computer. This position also involves assisting guests with inquiries and advising them on current promotions, maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring work stations are fully stocked. Performance of duties requires standing for the majority of the shift. Other duties may be assigned by management.
