About The Position

This is a rare opportunity to join Nu3s from the very beginning and help shape the future of a brand-new, multi-concept business. You’ll be part of a team building something exciting, modern, and community-focused. We’re looking for a hands-on, energetic Market Café Supervisor who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building operations from the ground up. You’ll support pre-launch setup and training, then transition into daily café operations once we open. This is an immediate hire. The role will be part-time during pre-launch (setup, training, onboarding) and will transition to full-time as the opening approaches, depending on timelines for the end of May 2026. This role reports directly to the Café Manager. Nu3s blends neighborhood charm with modern convenience in a unique, multi-faceted business model. Located in Queens, NY, at one of the busiest intersections of Farmers and Merrick Blvd, our Market Cafe offers expertly crafted coffee, tea, shakes, and delicious food combos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also feature state-of-the-art Valet-operated Touchless Bay Carwashes and an Auto Care center with valet service, equipped with the latest Hunter equipment for precise diagnostics and comprehensive services like oil changes, tires, brakes, and alignments. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or lead experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Positive attitude and ability to lead by example
  • Flexible availability (mornings, weekends, holidays)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

  • Hospitality or business degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support pre-launch setup, preparation, and staff training
  • Lead daily café operations after opening
  • Train, coach, and support café team members
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns
  • Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with the kitchen on menu items and availability
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock levels
  • Create staff schedules and assign daily tasks
  • Monitor sales, labor, and basic P&L performance
  • Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
