About The Position

The Café Manager oversees the daily operations of the Atomic Cafe, ensuring efficient, profitable, high-quality service and a positive visitor experience. The position manages café staff, food safety and cleanliness standards, service performance, budgets, inventory, and customer service. The role reports to the Director of Operations.

Requirements

• Three years of progressive responsibility in food service management.
• Proven experience managing staff and operations in a food service environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Atomic Cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Train and supervise café team members, set performance standards, and conduct regular evaluations.
• Create team schedules, manage shifts, and address staffing needs.
• Develop and implement a training program emphasizing cleanliness, sanitation requirements, and food safety regulations.
• Oversee cash handling, financial transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations.
• Maintain high customer-service standards and address issues or feedback promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety certifications.
• Monitor and manage budgets, track expenses and revenue, and work toward profitability goals.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and supplies to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve visitor experience and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments to create special event menus and seasonal offerings.
