About The Position
This position involves being a team member, expert, techie, owner, and talent ambassador within a cafe setting. The associate will maintain knowledge of product specifications, prepare food according to specifications, leverage digital tools, drive area performance, and act as a brand advocate. The role requires adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and operating equipment. Associates will also provide member service, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve concerns. Compliance with company policies and completing work assignments are essential. Responsibilities
- Maintains up-to date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources.
- Communicates effectively with the members of the team.
- Is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
- Prepares food according to item specifications.
- Understands and plans future productions and mass productions.
- Prepares for seasonality.
- Adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
- Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Drives the performance of the area.
- Stocks and rotates merchandise.
- Ensures quality and date control standards.
- Eliminates waste.
- Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member's needs.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions, payment types, and locating merchandise.
- Resolves member issues and concerns.
- Acts as a brand advocate.
- Develops, influences and inspires others for working in a style that is respectful, supportive and team oriented.
- Understands the roadblocks and assists in training them.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans.
