About The Position

Under general supervision, the Cafe Assistant Substitute performs and assists with routine and special duties involving the preparation, cooking, and serving of a variety of foods, including USDA-approved school lunch operations, when kitchen staff are absent. Duties also include setting up facilities and cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils. This is an on-call position helping in the school kitchen when regular staff are out.
