About The Position

This position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible overseeing the daily operations of the Atomic Cafe, ensuring efficient, profitable, and high-quality service. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and optimizing overall service performance to enhance the visitor experience.

Requirements

5 years of progressive responsibility in food service management.
Proven experience in managing staff and operations in a food service environment
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the Atomic Cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Train and supervise all café team members, including setting performance standards and conducting regular evaluations
Create team schedules, manage shifts, and address staffing needs as required
Develop and implement a training program that emphasizes cleanliness, meets or exceeds sanitation requirements, and complies with all food safety regulations
Oversee cash handling, financial transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations
Ensure high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or feedback promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food safety certifications
Monitor and manage budgets, including tracking expenses and revenue to meet profitability goals
Schedule and oversee all equipment maintenance, including cleanings and inspections
Manage inventory, ordering, and supplies to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visitor experience and satisfaction
Collaborate with internal departments to create special event menus and seasonal offerings
