About The Position

The Café Manager is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and menu items as well as communicating effectively with customers, pilots, and team members within the cafe department. Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Kitchen Management experience preferred
  • Cooking/customer service experience preferably in the food service industry

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire Café operations
  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Supervise other employees in the Café
  • Develop and maintain the menu in conjunction with the General Manager
  • Order all food and other products from the food service provider
  • Monitor food supplies and order replacement items as needed
  • Review food costs, and recommend pricing to the General Manager
  • Complete knowledge of menu items and daily specials
  • Café opening and closing duties of food preparation and cleaning
  • Cook and prepare menu and daily special items
  • Process food sales using the cash register and POS machine
  • Abide by all standards established by the American National Standards Institute-Conference for Food Protection
  • Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
  • Maintain a clean dining area and drink bar throughout the day
