About The Position
Fifth Third Arena, the official practice facility of the Chicago Blackhawks, features a café by One Off Hospitality that serves as a popular spot for athletes, staff, and guests. The café offers specialty coffee and premium bites. We are seeking a Café Cashier to provide fast, friendly service in a lively, team-oriented environment, focusing on creating an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, cash handling, or barista work preferred but not required — we’ll provide training
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, personable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and event days
- Must obtain a valid Illinois Food Handler’s Certificate
Responsibilities
- Accurately handle sales transactions and process payments using the POS system
- Greet and engage guests in a professional, upbeat, and welcoming manner
- Prepare and serve coffee and grab-and-go food and beverage items with consistency and care
- Restock beverages and supplies to maintain seamless café operations
- Keep the café area organized, clean, and inviting for every guest
- Resolve guest inquiries or issues promptly and courteously
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
