About The Position

This part-time position works 32 hours per week and offers full benefits. Under the general direction of the Cafeteria Supervisor/Manager, the Café Cashier performs duties related to cash handling and customer service for staff and visitors. The role requires following facility policies and procedures, responding to verbal direction, presenting oneself professionally, and being available for a variety of shifts. Employees must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be vaccinated or provide a valid medical or religious exemption.

Requirements

• Must have a Mobile County Health Department Food Handlers card.
• Present oneself in a professional manner and speak clearly.
• Be available for a variety of shifts.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; related work experience may be considered instead.
