About The Position

The Cashier works at the Blue Square Café, supporting guest service and café operations. The role includes processing guest transactions, maintaining an organized and clean work area, handling revenue according to company policies, and helping maintain inventory. Duties may change at any time, with or without notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a service culture that ensures team members deliver superior internal and external guest service.
• Ensure the department follows regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned side work and checklists.
• Ring up guests promptly and correctly according to their tender; make eye contact and use guests’ names when possible.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow company policies for handling received revenue, signing out banks or drawers, and closing out revenue centers.
• Use the Point Of Sale InfoGenesis systems.
• Maintain inventory par levels, order inventory, and restock as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
