Café Ambassador- Lenox Square- Part Time

Capital One•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

The Café Ambassador is the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good, working in a modern community hub rather than behind a teller line. The role combines high-end guest service with guidance on digital banking, creating human connections and helping guests use Capital One’s digital tools. The Café Ambassador is not a barista and does not serve coffee. The position does not have traditional sales goals or high-pressure sales tactics; success is measured by the quality of guest connections. The ambassador engages with guests, shares information about Capital One products and services through conversation, helps customers navigate digital banking and troubleshoot technology, supports local financial-health events within established programs and community partnerships, and advocates for customers while resolving issues in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements. Handling complaints and escalated situations, including de-escalation, is an important part of the role. The position requires fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, attention to detail, a positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability to change. It is an active, mobile role spent moving around the Café. Ambassadors may support other Cafés within a 50-mile radius and occasionally other locations in the broader region. A flexible schedule is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays; schedules may change based on business needs, with reasonable notice for permanent changes in accordance with applicable laws. Required training may occur on a schedule different from the primary shift.
