About The Position

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a full-time, hourly Café Associate to provide friendly, fast, and accurate service to café customers. The role prepares and serves coffee, specialty drinks, and food items while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The Café Associate supports daily café operations by delivering excellent customer service, handling transactions, following food safety standards, and assisting with opening and closing responsibilities when serving as the keyholder on duty.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and give them full attention throughout each transaction.
• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, and food items while providing fast, accurate customer service.
• Process sales transactions and handle customer payments.
• Assist customers promptly when serving multiple guests.
• Clean counters, tables, and equipment; wash dishes; and stock or restock products and supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and company policies and procedures.
• When serving as Keyholder on Duty, supervise staff, assign tasks, assist with customer concerns, and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.
