About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role.
• Basic calculation experience and handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.

• Experience working in a healthcare or social assistance environment.
• Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe).
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, processing transactions accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces, counters, and equipment.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and promptly reporting shortages or issues to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient café operations and a positive customer experience within the healthcare facility.
