About The Position

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Tucson, AZ office as a drafter. Under general supervision of a project manager or engineer, the successful candidate will provide entry-level manual and computer-aided drafting support for ECI projects with a goal to develop higher level of skills and abilities. Work includes preparing complete drawings of structures, layouts, facilities or general arrangements, including section and detail views, and profiles in a manner to provide clear and concise representation of facilities. Preparation basis is typically from engineering drawing markups or modification of previously prepared, similar drawings.

Requirements

College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design, or a minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-sided drafting/design field.
Proven effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proven excellent level of interpersonal skills.
Ability to work individually and on a team.
Detail oriented.
Possess a high level of organizational skills.
Proven ability to work with confidential information.
Proven ability to exercise independent judgment.
