About The Position

Pennoni is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm that works across areas including land development and energy management. The firm helps communities and private-sector clients integrate technological solutions into resilient and sustainable planning. The CADD Technician supports survey and design work by processing and evaluating survey data, preparing plats and drawings, conducting deed research and plotting, and providing office support. The role also involves quality-control checks and helping ensure schedules and productivity objectives are met.

Requirements

• Associate degree, or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of work experience.
• Computer skills including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in technical math, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and team-player attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to adapt well to new situations.
• Team-player and problem-solver who can work with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with Carlson.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data daily, including evaluating its accuracy and sufficiency.
• Perform deed research, deed plotting, and map checks.
• Prepare survey plats, drawings, and legal descriptions.
• Provide office support.
• Perform quality-control checks of plats and drawings.
• Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved.
